Step 1: Submit Your Request
• Fill out and submit the QCD form. Our office receives your request immediately.
Step 2: Invoice Sent
• Our attorney prepares an invoice including:
◦ $495 QCD Preparation Fee
◦ Recording Costs
◦ Documentary Stamps (if there’s a mortgage)
Step 3: Payment
• Once the invoice is paid, we draft your QCD document.
Step 4: Document Draft & Review
• The drafted QCD is sent to you for review. Confirm that all details are accurate.
Step 5: Notary Signing
• After review and approval, we schedule a notary to sign the document with you.
Step 6: Recording
• Once signed, we record the QCD with the county to finalize the process.
